In Vino Veritas

From Zuluhed Wiki

A family-raid guild that focuses on gathering real-life family and friends to play together and pursue endgame content. IVV is a walking contradiction -- a casual, friendly guild that works hard to succeed at 25-man raiding. IVV considers its greatest achievement to be providing a safe and caring environment for its members, and attempts to keep the game lighthearted, mature, and respectful.

[edit] Founders

Fently, Droglee, Mandreth, Malloc, and Gok had played together before the Burning Crusade expansion on a hardcore raiding guild--alliance side. They had the sense and foresight to realize that horde is the place to be and rerolled accordingly.

[edit] Beginnings

In February 2007, soon after the release of BC, Malloc convinced a few college friends to roll horde on Zuluhed with the agreement that the guild change its name from Sotally Tober.

The level 70 guild leaders ran 5-mans as their new members leveled and waited patiently to have a group to do Karazhan, though it took several months to see the inside of that instance. By September, when that first group of friends hit 70, the guild had gained enough people to be struggling through the first half of Kara on a regular basis.

The rest was a slow and steady upward climb.

[edit] Raiding

IVV's success stems from a very loyal member base, and members take every milestone with a smile and renewed energy, as each success proves a little more that casual guilds can be taken seriously as raiders. IVV is looking forward to the expansion and the level playing field it will create, encouraging quiet competition with other guilds for WowJutsu ranking.
